What this site measures, why, and how to turn it off. Plain language, no small print.

The short version
This site is a place to listen to Faithful and download the songs. There are no accounts, no comments, no advertising trackers and no email gate. We use a small amount of first-party measurement so the artist can see which songs are being heard — nothing more.
What we measure
- Playback events: when a track actually starts, when it reaches thirty seconds (or the whole track, if shorter), and when it reaches the end.
- Download events: when a visitor starts an MP3 download.
- Store clicks: when a visitor follows a link to an external streaming platform.
- Basic context: the page you were on, a coarse device category (mobile, tablet or desktop), and a coarse traffic source when your browser provides a referrer.
Each event carries a timestamp and a random session identifier kept in your browser’s session storage. The identifier is not linked to your name, email address or account, and it is cleared when the browser session ends.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address or password. We do not store raw IP addresses in the analytics records. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or social plug-ins. We do not sell or share visitor data.
Storage in your browser
The site uses your browser’s local storage only to keep your analytics preference and — in the preview dashboard — anonymous event records for this browser. The site also uses session storage for the session identifier and to remember a paused track between page loads. Audio itself is loaded from this site only when you press play.
How long we keep it
First-party event records are kept for up to 180 days, then deleted. Aggregate totals may be kept longer because they no longer identify a session. Download-server logs, where used, are rotated and kept only as long as needed to operate the service.
Your choices
You can turn first-party measurement off at any time. Your choice is remembered in this browser. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, measurement stays off unless you deliberately turn it on.
External platforms
Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, Deezer and other services open those platforms in a new tab. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply. Plays on those platforms are counted by them, not by us.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because there are no accounts or forms, no personal details are requested from any visitor.
Changes to this notice
If the way we measure changes — for example, if email sign-up or paid downloads are added later — this page will be updated before those features go live, with a new “last updated” date.
